Integration Technical Analyst | Higher Education
3-month contract | Outside IR35 | ASAP start
Have you helped a university connect its systems and turned complex integration requirements into clear specifications developers can build from?
I'm working with a consultancy that needs an experienced Integration Technical Analyst to support integrations across Higher Education systems. This is an urgent requirement, with an initial three-month contract and a start as soon as possible.
You'll work with university stakeholders, system owners, architects and developers to understand business processes, analyse existing integrations and define how data should move between systems.
The work goes beyond capturing requirements. You'll specify what triggers an integration, which system owns the data, how fields map and transform, what happens when processing fails, and how the finished integration will be tested and accepted.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
