Systems Integration Test Manager
Hybrid Working | Kettering + UK Project Sites
Shape the Future of Warehouse Automation
Our client designs and delivers large-scale automated material handling solutions for the logistics and warehousing sector, integrating robotics, conveyor systems, controls and software into fully operational facilities for some of the UK's best-known brands.
As project demand continues to grow, they are looking for a Systems Integration Test Manager to take ownership of testing and acceptance activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring complex automation solutions are successfully integrated, validated and delivered into live operational environments.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role within a growing automation business, working on high-value projects from initial concept through to customer handover and go-live.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position spanning both pre-sales and project delivery.
During the early stages of a project, you'll work alongside the Sales and Solution Design teams to define testing requirements, support customer discussions and help shape the overall testing approach.
Once projects are secured, you'll take responsibility for planning, coordinating and executing all testing activities, covering software, controls systems, automation equipment and third-party integrations through to contractual performance testing and early-life support.
You will also lead and develop a team of Integration Test Engineers whilst acting as a key interface between customers, suppliers and internal project teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
