Scope automates the data collection that’s slowing down the physical world.

Standards are vital for the safety of our infrastructure. Spending hours manually documenting them is not.

Dave is an inspector. Today he’s climbing through one of Europe’s biggest chemical plants, looking for the corrosion that could shut the whole site down, with a notebook and pen in hand. Tomorrow, he’ll spend even longer on the part of the job he hates: turning those scribbles into a report.

We’re building the best AI-native data collection layer for the 2 billion field workers like Dave. Scope radically simplifies how inspectors collect data in the field, make decisions, and produce reports. Along the way, we’re building the world’s largest dataset on the condition of the built world and the decisions experts make about it.

It’s a $2T market and we’re just getting started, with ambitions. We work with 6 of the top 10 companies in the space. Our customers inspect facilities and products for companies including AstraZeneca and SpaceX.

We’ve assembled a best-in-class team: acquired and future founders, people from institutions like Imperial, Carnegie Mellon and Oxford, and from firms like Goldman Sachs, Flexport and Amazon.

Since launching from Entrepreneurs First in 2024, we've raised an oversubscribed $20m round led by Index Ventures, the firm behind Figma, Revolut and Wiz, with 100+ unicorns backed to date.

About the role

You will join a talented, flat-structured engineering team as our Integrations Engineer, owning how external systems interact with Scope’s platform. You will build the APIs, frameworks and data pipelines behind every integration, and own problems end to end. You will be the 1st Integrations Engineer hire and will build out the team as we scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will not be siloed. You will work directly with our Deployment Strategists and clients to understand their systems, decide what to build, ship it and check it worked. Every integration you deliver should make the next one faster.

We work in person five days a week at our Farringdon office, because we believe it's how we move fastest.

We're looking for people who want to help reimagine what inspection software should look like in a post-AI world, and how it plugs into everything around it.

What you will do

  • Build the core foundations for integrations, including APIs that allow external systems to interact with our platform.
  • Develop reusable integration frameworks, from advanced custom integrations to no-code tools like Zapier and Make.
  • Work directly with Deployment Strategists and clients to integrate Scope into their existing systems.
  • Build reusable components so each integration makes the next faster and easier.
  • Build data pipelines for migrations and synchronisation with external systems.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure integrations remain compatible as the platform evolves.

Who you are

  • Strong technical ability, particularly in backend engineering and APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working directly with clients.
  • Able to translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working closely with the wider engineering team and business.
