Role: IP Paralegal / Administrator
Location: West Lancashire, UK

Key Responsibilities:
- IP Formalities & Filings: Prepare and arrange execution of official legal documents (Powers of Attorney, Assignments, Notarisations, Legalisations).
- Foreign & Domestic Prosecution: Prepare official forms for UKIPO / EPO / UPC filings, instruct foreign attorney networks, and coordinate EP validations.
- Trademarks & Designs: Assist with the filing, registration, and ongoing prosecution of trademarks and industrial designs.
- Database & Docketing Management: Maintain and update the IP database, process renewal fee records, and log incoming patent office communications.
- Invoicing & Financial Support: Attend to patent office fees, process external counsel invoices, and manage agreement databases.
- Process Optimisation: Work alongside IP attorneys to review procedures and continually refine operational workflows.

Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience / Knowledge: Hands-on experience in IP administration or a strong willingness/aptitude to rapidly acquire comprehensive knowledge across patent, design, and trademark administration.
- Qualifications: CIPA Patent Administrator Qualification is highly desirable (support to attain the qualification will be provided for the right candidate).
- Skillset: Meticulous attention to detail, proactive attitude, strong collaborative mindset, and excellent customer-focused service skills.
