Intellectual Property Solicitor – Senior Associate 5+ PQE – London
A leading Legal 500 national law firm with a standout UK reputation is looking for an Intellectual Property Solicitor to join its reputable London team. You will work with a high-quality client base across sports, fashion, and consumer brands, advising on complex IP disputes and litigation matters within a dynamic and commercially focused practice.
This Intellectual Property Solicitor role in London offers the opportunity to work closely with highly regarded partners on high-value matters, while taking ownership of your own caseload and developing your profile within a collaborative and entrepreneurial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Intellectual Property Solicitor in London to progress within a fast-growing and supportive environment.
The Role:
- Advise on a broad range of IP disputes including trade marks, passing off, copyright, and design rights
- Manage your own caseload with direct client exposure and responsibility
- Support on complex litigation matters working closely with partners
- Act for high-profile clients across sports, fashion, and consumer brands
- Mentor and support junior lawyers within the team
- Provide commercially focused, practical advice aligned to client objectives
- Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives
- Collaborate within a highly engaged, down-to-earth, and entrepreneurial team

The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in intellectual property law
- Strong experience handling IP disputes and litigation matters
- Technical expertise across trade marks, copyright, passing off, and design rights
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic and client-focused approach
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
- Enthusiasm for business development and building client relationships
- Collaborative and personable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team
