Intellectual Property Solicitor
London | 2-4 PQE | Leading US Law Firm | £175k - £200k + Bonus
We are working with a highly regarded US City law firm seeking a talented IP / Intellectual Property Lawyer (2 – 4PQE) to join this market-leading London US firm.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the City’s preeminent specialist IP practices.
The Opportunity
You'll become part of a collaborative international team advising on market-leading work across a broad range of sectors including technology, AI, luxury brands, consumer products, sport, media, and hospitality.
The role offers exposure to:
- Complex technology and commercial transactions.
- Intellectual property licensing and commercialisation.
- AI governance, regulation, and emerging technologies.
- Digital Services legislation and evolving regulatory frameworks.
- UK GDPR, data protection, and data commercialisation.
- Technology aspects of cross-border M&A.
- Software development and licensing agreements.
- High-profile international commercial projects.

You'll also have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the UK, Europe, and the US on genuinely cross-border matters while taking an active role in business development and mentoring junior lawyers.
About You
We're keen to speak with Associates who have:
- 2–4 years' PQE within a leading City, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, US, or specialist IP/Technology practice.
- Strong experience advising on IP, technology, and commercial transactions.
- Commercial contracts and licensing expertise.
- Experience advising on AI, emerging technologies, or digital regulation.
- Solid knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection matters.
- Excellent academics and technical ability.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- A commercial mindset with the ambition to develop into a leadership role.
