Why join us?

The Intelligence team at DWF is currently hiring for an Intelligence Analyst to join a well-established specialist function, delivering intelligence-led investigations across our Insurance and Commercial Practice Groups. You will support a broad range of instructions from areas such as motor, fraud, major injury, corporate insolvency, and dispute resolution.

Our team produces high-quality analytical outputs for both civil and criminal investigations, inquests, and public inquiries. This includes due diligence, subject profiling, asset tracing, financial analysis, link and timeline analysis, and organisational mapping, supporting clients across insurers, corporates, retailers, and government agencies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyse complex data from internal systems, industry sources, and open-source intelligence to identify fraud, risk, and non-genuine activity. You will use critical thinking to translate findings into clear, evidence-based insights that support case investigation, litigation strategy, and wider decision-making.

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with the option of being based from our Manchester or Liverpool office.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth investigations into individuals, companies, and associated entities
  • Interrogate internal and external databases and intelligence systems
  • Identify patterns, trends, and risk indicators within complex datasets
  • Apply appropriate analytical techniques based on investigation requirements
  • Adapt investigations in line with litigation strategy
  • Produce high-quality intelligence reports with clear findings and recommendations
  • Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and performance targets
  • Work collaboratively within the investigative team
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and secure data handling at all times

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
