Intelligence Analyst

We are recruiting an Intelligence Analyst to join our Operational Intelligence team on a six-month fixed-term contract (or contractor basis). You will support the delivery of high-quality, insight-driven intelligence products for Prevail's government, commercial and NGO clients, contributing across the full spectrum of intelligence consultancy and product delivery.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will apply structured analytical techniques, open-source research and intelligence methodologies to deliver timely, actionable intelligence that supports real-world operational outcomes. This role is ideally suited to an experienced analyst who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment, work with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality outputs from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of complex analytical tasks with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality intelligence in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Conduct intelligence collection, research and analysis using open-source and commercially available information.
  • Apply recognised intelligence analysis methodologies and structured analytical techniques to produce timely, evidence-based assessments.
  • Monitor and assess developing geopolitical, security and operational events, identifying emerging risks, trends and mis/disinformation narratives.
  • Conduct network and link analysis, mapping and data visualisation to identify relationships, patterns and key insights.
  • Produce clear, accurate intelligence reports, assessments, briefings and presentations, including visual and geospatial products where appropriate.
  • Brief internal and external stakeholders, translating client requirements into actionable intelligence products and analytical support.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver intelligence aligned to client priorities and collection plans.
  • Conduct peer review of analytical outputs to maintain high quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of intelligence processes, methodologies and collection approaches.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
