Broadstone Risks is expanding its UK intelligence capability and is appointing three Intelligence Analysts to its Global Security Operations Centre.
Our analysts provide intelligence support to private clients, families and organisations operating internationally. The GSOC sits at the centre of the Broadstone operating model, connecting intelligence with protective operations, international travel, advance work and decision-making on the ground. Intelligence here is not produced for its own sake. It is produced because someone is about to move, arrive, appear or decide, and the assessment has to reach them before they do.
THE ROLE
You will research, monitor, verify and assess information relevant to the safety, movements and wider operating environment of our clients.
This includes:
- Protective intelligence relating to principals, families and associated interests
- OSINT and SOCMINT research and monitoring
- Threat identification and assessment
- International travel and location-specific risk
- Geopolitical developments, civil unrest and demonstrations
- Crime, terrorism and security incidents
- Online narratives, fixated individuals and emerging concerns
- Events, venues, hotels and transportation
- Reputational and wider contextual risk
- Live incidents affecting protective operations or client movements
You will produce intelligence assessments, alerts, briefings and operational reporting, maintain continuous situational awareness across client locations and movements, support live incident response, and communicate directly with colleagues responsible for protective and international operations. At times this means supporting a planned movement days or weeks in advance. At others it means recognising that something developing online or overseas carries an immediate operational consequence. The judgement that separates the two is the substance of the role.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are interested in people who can find information, assess it critically, and communicate what actually matters.
Relevant backgrounds may include government or national-security intelligence; police or military intelligence; protective intelligence; corporate intelligence and risk; GSOC or operations-centre work; OSINT and SOCMINT investigation; executive-protection intelligence support; or international security and travel-risk operations.
You should demonstrate:
- Sound analytical judgement, and the ability to work with incomplete or rapidly changing information
- Demonstrable experience in open-source research, with an understanding of source evaluation and analytical methodology
- Excellent written English and concise, decision-ready reporting
- Strong awareness of international current affairs and geopolitical risk
- Judgement around escalation, and discretion in handling highly sensitive information
- The ability to communicate confidently with analysts and operational personnel alike
- Familiarity with OSINT platforms, social-media monitoring and geospatial tools, and sound general IT literacy
- Willingness to work a continuous shift rota, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Eligibility to work in the UK, and willingness to undergo enhanced screening and vetting
Prior experience within a GSOC, operations centre or 24-hour watch environment is advantageous, as is experience of specialist threat-assessment or risk-management platforms.
We are appointing several analysts and do not expect them to hold identical backgrounds. We are looking for complementary experience across intelligence analysis, OSINT and SOCMINT, and operational security. Candidates strong in one area and developing in another are encouraged to apply.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
These are permanent, full-time, on-site appointments at Broadstone’s intelligence facility in South East England. Remote working does not form part of the role.
Applicants should live within practical travelling distance of the wider Kent and Sussex area. The facility is rurally situated, so independent transport is a practical necessity, particularly outside conventional hours. The precise location is disclosed at interview. The centre provides continuous coverage across multiple time zones. The appointments are therefore shift-based and include nights, weekends and public holidays on a published rota.
