As an Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a critical role in providing real-time situational awareness and threat intelligence to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor global, all-hazards threats and social media activity to help safeguard client critical infrastructure.
- Prepare real-time threat alerts, daily and weekly intelligence products, and event-driven analytical briefs.
- Conduct extensive open-source research, data mining, and social media monitoring using a broad range of intelligence tools and resources.
- Track breaking events in real time and provide situational awareness to clients and internal leadership.
- Use multilingual, geo-enabled, text-analytics, social media, and web-monitoring platforms to identify and assess potential threats.
- Evaluate information from social media, open-source media, and other databases to determine the scope and significance of threats to clients, executives, affiliates, and infrastructure.
- Support global protective operations and intelligence functions through monitoring, research, intelligence management, communication, and escalation.
- Produce clear, accurate, and thoughtful written intelligence reports and analytical products.
- Communicate findings confidently to clients, executives, leadership, peers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide intelligence department coverage as needed to ensure continuous support for client requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
