Role Description

The Interact Tutor role is a remote contract position focused on delivering engaging online tutoring sessions to learners in various subjects or skill areas, depending on experience. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Interact Tutor will use online platforms and digital tools to facilitate live sessions, manage scheduling, track learner progress, and maintain accurate records of lessons delivered. The role also involves:

  • Adapting teaching methods to different learning styles
  • Communicating professionally with learners and, when relevant, client organizations
  • Collaborating with ETEFL LTD to improve learning materials and session formats

Qualifications

  • Strong tutoring or teaching skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear written and spoken English and active listening.
  • Proficiency in using online conferencing tools, learning platforms, and basic office software for remote instruction.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple learners, schedule sessions, and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Prior experience in online tutoring, education, training, or coaching is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant academic background or professional certifications in education, language teaching, or subject-specific fields are an advantage.
  • Reliable internet connection, appropriate hardware (computer, headset, webcam), and a quiet workspace for remote sessions.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to providing inclusive, supportive learning environments.
