Interim Accountant

I'm working with an established international business looking for an Interim Accountant to join their finance team in Warrington on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their management accounting experience, get involved in month-end processes and contribute ideas to improve financial processes and reporting.

What you'll be doing:

  • Matching and reconciling freight and duty invoices, investigating discrepancies and ensuring costs are accurately recorded.
  • Monitoring invoice volumes and outstanding charges to ensure all relevant costs are captured.
  • Supporting month-end processes, including accrual calculations and providing accurate cost information.
  • Working closely with Accounts Payable and Management Accountants to resolve queries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Investigating differences and helping ensure month-end accruals reflect outstanding costs.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, controls and reporting.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with accurate financial information and ongoing process improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
