Interim Management Accountant
Bath (Hybrid | 2 days on-site, 3 days WFH)

Day rate £250-£275 per day - depending on pay type: PAYE/Umbrella
We are supporting a large and well-established organisation in Bath with the urgent appointment of an experienced Interim Management Accountant, to fill a gap in the team whilst they recruit for the role permanently.
This is a key role providing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering support across a range of operational departments while the organisation recruits permanently. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver accurate, insightful financial reporting. Based on the attached role profile, the position focuses on budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis and partnering with departmental leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting and planning processes
- Produce and review financial forecasts
- Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Analyse variances and provide meaningful financial insight
- Business partner with senior stakeholders and budget holders
- Support business cases and investment decisions
- Assist with year-end activities and financial statements
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong Management Accounting experience within a complex organisation
- Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Proven business partnering capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Available immediately or at short notice
