Interim Accountant - Adult's Social Care
We are currently assisting a client in the south in their search for an Interim Accountant - Adult's Social Care.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interim Accountant to join the Adult Social Care Finance team. This role will provide financial support, analysis, and advice to budget holders, helping to ensure effective financial management and value for money across Adult Social Care services.

- Initial 6-month contract
- c.£500 per day
- Hybrid working

Key Responsibilities:
- Support budget monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Provide financial advice and challenge to service managers and budget holders.
- Assist with budget setting, year-end accounts, and financial planning activities.
- Analyse financial performance and identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (CIPFA/CCAB/CIMA/AAT or equivalent).
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and present financial information clearly.
- Local government or Adult Social Care finance experience is essential.
