About the Role

Unite Talent are working in partnership with a Charity organisation, to recruit an Interim Associate HR Business Partner on a 3 month Fixed Term Contract basis, offering a salary of £43,300. The role is 4 days/week on site near Russell Square, Tottenham Court Road or Goodge Street Tube stop, with one day working from home. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the successful candidate will take on a pivotal role in managing employee relations casework, that support the organisation through a period of transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead employee relations casework, including managing sickness absence, disciplinaries, grievances, capability and performance
  • Support the team to adapt and amend HR processes, to ensure they are ready for the Employment Rights Act, specifically the Probation Policy
  • Support and coach managers with key HR matters with confidence and discretion, including report writing

Additional Information

  • £43,300 on a 3 month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential of being extended to 6 months
  • Candidates are required to be available to start on 5th October

Preferred Requirements

  • Proven experience in employee relations, including handling sensitive matters, policy development, and employee engagement
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and operate with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain HR matters clearly to non-specialists
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or equivalent HR qualification, or demonstrable equivalent experience)
  • Background in a business partner or generalist HR role within a mid-sized organisation
  • Experience working in an interim or project-based capacity is advantageous
  • Ideal candidates will have worked in Public Sector environment, or Charity/ Not-for-Profit
