Interim Bid Manager

As an Interim Bid Manager in the business services industry, you'll manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring high-quality submissions that meet client requirements. This temporary role involves working closely with internal teams to coordinate and deliver compelling proposals that drive business growth.

A company operating in the business services industry. Our client is a PE-backed business services firm, looking for interim support during a busy period in their bids function.

Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end bid process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and insights for bid proposals.
  • Develop compelling and professional bid documents tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications and tender requirements.
  • Track and manage bid timelines, deliverables, and deadlines effectively.
  • Conduct quality checks and reviews on proposal content before submission.
  • Maintain a library of proposal templates and relevant documentation for future use.
  • Analyse feedback from previous bids to improve processes and outcomes.

Profile

A successful Interim Bid Manager should have:

  • 5+ years experience in Bid Management and/or writing roles
  • Available at short notice to cover an interim contract
  • Exposure to public sector bids processes.
  • Experience in industries including professional services, Facilities Management, and healthcare services would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong written communication skills for creating engaging and professional proposals.
  • Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality assurance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate equivalent of £55,000 - £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary contract providing flexibility.
  • Immediate start available.
