Interim Bus Systems & Technology Specialist - Contract Inside IR35

Clearance: DBS

Contract Length: Until 19/11/2026

Location: Hybrid (Yorkshire) two days per week onsite.

Rate: £To be provided on application

Our client is seeking an experienced Bus Systems & Technology Specialist to support a major transport technology transition programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist with extensive knowledge of bus industry systems, including:

  • Real time passenger information systems and screens, including live performance monitoring, historic reporting and links to traffic signal bus priority.
  • Printed timetable production systems.
  • Online timetable and journey planning systems.
  • ENCTS user database and card production systems, as well as proof-of-age card systems for Under 19s.
  • Commercial ticketing assets including smartcard vending kiosks, sales terminals and associated back office and banking systems.
  • Bus contract management systems; and
  • Bus service registration systems (including EBSR).
