We are currently partnering with a major UK infrastructure operator in their search for an experienced Interim Business Analyst to support an exciting Financial Asset Management Transformation Programme.
This transformation underpins capital returns, statutory and regulatory reporting, compliance and investment decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key part in eliciting and documenting business processes, data and reporting requirements - helping shape future-state ways of working and supporting the evaluation of new solutions.
Role Requirements
- Facilitate workshops to capture As-Is processes, pain points, controls and improvement opportunities across finance and compliance functions
- Define clear To-Be process flows, data hand-offs and business change impacts
- Gather, document and validate business and functional requirements, working with solution and data architects on feasibility
- Engage senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Engineering and Digital Transformation to shape future-state processes and support backlog prioritisation
- Run SME workshops, challenge assumptions and drive consensus on requirements and process change
- Support market assessment and supplier engagement activity, including RFI/RFP inputs and evaluation criteria

Key Experience

- 5+ years' Business Analysis experience on large-scale transformation programmes
- Proven experience within Financial Asset Management — essential (capital asset accounting, capex/investment decision-making, statutory and regulatory reporting)
- Demonstrable experience delivering process re-engineering and operating model change
- Strong requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Agile delivery experience
- Additional experience in finance transformation, capital projects, ERP-enabled change, or infrastructure/transport/utilities sectors is advantageous
