Job Opportunity – Interim Capital (Assets) Accountant – Local Authority – 100% Remote
Job Role: Interim Capital (Assets) Accountant
Contract Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Hybrid: Happy considering 100% remote options.
Rate: DOE
Days: Part time hours preferably but also happy to consider full time hours.
Start Date: Beginning of November.
Main duties:
- Have purchased InfoShare+ Asset Register (formerly known as CIPFA Asset Manager.net) and the authority are needing to get data onto the new system as it will be used for 26/27 closedown.
- On top of this candidates will be expected to assist with the treatment of capital spend in year end preparations for year end reporting.
- There is no HRA.

Candidate Requirements:
- Must have specific technical capital accounting (fixed-asset register) experience working for a local authority.
- Candidates with specific InfoShare+ or CIPFA Asset Manager.Net experience will be highly desirable.
- Do not necessarily need to be fully qualified although this is desired.
