Interim Capital Markets Specialist

6 Months (potential to extend)
Day rate or FTC

We are recruiting for a new Capital Markets opportunity within a fast-growing UK mortgage lender based in London. This is an interim opportunity working on several projects and supporting transactions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of structured funding activities - ideally with either public securitisations or private warehouses
  • Control of daily cashflow movement and forecasting
  • Monthly / quarterly servicer and investor reporting for structured funding programme
  • Establishment of the operational structures, including bank account set-ups, to support funding programmes going live or being amended
  • Manage hedging activity including maintaining hedge relationships, hedge effectiveness calculations, designations, de-designations & re-designations, identifying opportunities for process and strategy development
  • Hedging & margin management, including suggesting & implementing improvements, and be able to explain processes to other impacted teams
  • Preparation and presentation of management information packs to the weekly liquidity review meetings

  • Proven Capital Markets and Treasury experience with mortgage lending exposure
  • Strong experience across public or private securitisation structures
  • Experience with interest rate hedging strategies and their application within structured funding vehicles
  • Strong stakeholder management with complex internal and external relationships
  • Good data analytics and quantitative skills
  • Experience with Treasury and Financial systems
