Interim CFO | PE-Backed Buy & Build Platform
Location: Greater Manchester
Duration: Initial 6-12 month assignment

A highly acquisitive, PE-backed technical services business is seeking an experienced Interim CFO to support the next phase of growth.
Operating in a blue-collar, multi-site environment, the business has completed a number of acquisitions and is continuing to pursue an active buy-and-build strategy. The successful candidate will partner closely with the CEO, board and investors to drive integration, strengthen financial performance and support future M&A activity.

Key responsibilities:
- Leading finance across a growing buy-and-build platform
- Driving post-acquisition integration and value creation
- Strengthening reporting, forecasting, controls and cash management
- Supporting lenders, investors and board stakeholders
- Building scalable processes, systems and finance infrastructure
- Supporting future acquisitions from diligence through integration
- Improving commercial visibility and operational performance
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience within PE-backed businesses
- Strong technical services, engineering, FM, industrial services, infrastructure or support services background
- Proven experience operating within highly acquisitive, buy-and-build environments
- Multiple examples of acquisition integration delivered within the last five years
- Track record of leading post-deal integration, synergy capture and business consolidation initiatives
- Strong lender, investor and board management experience
- Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style with the ability to operate in fast-paced environments

This role is best suited to an Interim CFO who has repeatedly navigated acquisition-led growth and can demonstrate recent success integrating acquired businesses while professionalising finance and supporting value creation.
