A PE-backed professional services business is seeking an Interim CFO for an initial 6-month assignment.
The business is sub-£50m revenue and executing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, with multiple acquisitions under review and strong investor backing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function and provide leadership across the business
- Partner with the CEO, Board and PE sponsor on value creation initiatives
- Support M&A activity, including due diligence, execution and integration
- Enhance reporting, forecasting, controls and cash management
- Deliver investor-grade board reporting and commercial insight
- Help scale the business while maintaining operational rigour

Requirements:
- Proven experience in PE-backed businesses
- Strong buy-and-build and M&A credentials
- A track record of integrating acquisitions and driving value creation
- Experience in professional services environments
- The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
- Strong stakeholder management skills with investors, boards and management teams
