Interim Commercial Analyst - Up to £430 per Day (Umbrella) - 3 Month Contract - London based (Hybrid) - D2C Brand

We are recruiting a Temporary Commercial Analyst for a well-known, high-growth D2C consumer brand.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced contract role for a commercially minded analyst who can quickly get to grips with a large consumer business and provide insight to support commercial decision-making. You will work closely with the Revenue Management team and stakeholders across operations, finance, marketing, and technology.

The business operates a large national estate, with each location treated as an individual business. The Revenue Management team plays a key role in optimising commercial performance across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse location-level performance and identify commercial opportunities and risks.
  • Support pricing, promotions, product mix, and wider revenue-management decisions with clear analysis and recommendations.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to inform commercial strategy.
  • Build and maintain robust Excel models, trackers, and analysis packs.
  • Produce clear PowerPoint materials for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with colleagues across operations, finance, marketing, and technology to gather insight and align priorities.
  • Respond effectively to changing business needs and deliver high-quality work at pace.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with commercial judgement and excellent stakeholder skills.

You are likely to have:

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability.
  • Experience in strategy, commercial, or management consulting, or a similarly analytical commercial role.
  • Ideally 1 - 2 years’ relevant consulting experience, although strong candidates from other analytical backgrounds will be considered.
  • Experience in a B2C, subscription, or wider consumer-facing business environment.
  • The ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyse information quickly, and turn findings into practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging a broad range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
