A high-growth financial services business is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join its legal team on an initial 6-month interim basis.
This is an opportunity to work within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, supporting a broad range of commercial and operational matters as the organisation continues to scale. The role is highly business-facing and offers exposure to senior stakeholders across operations, HR, finance, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Advising on supplier, vendor, procurement, and services contracts.
- Supporting business stakeholders on day-to-day legal and commercial matters.
- Reviewing employee benefits, healthcare, and occupational health-related agreements.
- Identifying legal and commercial risks and delivering pragmatic solutions.
- Assisting with the development of legal processes and frameworks as the business grows.

About You
- Qualified lawyer in England & Wales (or equivalent).
- Ideally 3–7 PQE, although candidates outside this range will be considered.
- Strong commercial contracts experience gained in-house and/or in private practice.
- Experience negotiating supplier, procurement, and operational services agreements.
- Exposure to employee benefits, healthcare, or occupational health arrangements would be advantageous.
- Commercial, pragmatic, and comfortable working directly with stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
