About the job
Our client, a specialist disputes firm advising corporates and High Net Worth clients, is seeking an experienced Interim Litigation Lawyer to join its team on an initial 2–3 month basis, with potential for a permanent position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded litigator to join a specialist disputes practice and take ownership of a broad range of complex civil and commercial litigation matters.
You will work closely with the firm's lawyers, clients, and external advisers, supporting high-value and often multi-jurisdictional disputes, including High Court proceedings. The role will have a strong focus on progressing matters with a high degree of autonomy, from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing and progressing complex civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Taking ownership of litigation workstreams and driving matters forward with limited supervision.
- Assisting with High Court proceedings and other complex disputes.
- Conducting legal research, developing case strategies, and providing commercially focused advice.
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, witness statements, and other litigation documentation.
- Managing disclosure, evidence, and other procedural aspects of disputes.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and external advisers.
- Supporting multi-jurisdictional matters and advising corporate and High Net Worth clients.
- Supporting civil fraud and white-collar crime matters where relevant.
- Working closely with the wider disputes team to progress matters efficiently.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE and strong commercial litigation or civil disputes experience.
- Commercial disputes experience essential.
- Civil fraud and/or white-collar crime experience would be highly advantageous.
- Proven experience running litigation matters, taking ownership of cases, and working autonomously, ideally with High Court experience.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, advocacy, and client management skills.
- More senior candidates are also welcomed, provided they are keen to remain hands-on and closely involved in the firm's litigation work.
