Interim Commercial Project Manager
We are looking for a commercially focused Project Manager to join a fast-paced transformation programme. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong commercial finance background who has transitioned into project management and is comfortable operating at the intersection of Finance, Operations and Technology.
Alongside managing a portfolio of strategic projects, the successful candidate will act as deputy to the Commercial Finance Director, bringing commercial rigour to investment decisions, benefits tracking and project prioritisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic business transformation projects across Central Operations.
- Support commercial decision-making by assessing project costs, payback, ROI and benefits realisation.
- Work closely with Finance to prioritise investment opportunities based on commercial value.
- Drive project delivery, governance and reporting, ensuring milestones, risks, dependencies and project documentation remain up to date.
- Establish and maintain effective project controls and governance across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Technology to ensure successful delivery and business adoption.
- Support confidential and commercially sensitive strategic initiatives.
- Deputise for the Commercial Finance Manager when required.

Ideal Experience
- Strong commercial finance background with experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering before moving into project management.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent business transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of investment appraisal, financial modelling, payback and ROI.
- Experience working across Finance, Operations and Technology functions.
- Comfortable working in Agile and fast-paced environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong governance, planning and reporting capabilities.
- Able to balance pace with structure, ensuring projects deliver measurable business benefits.
