Interim Legal Counsel (1-2 Month Project)

London

Our client is a fast-growing technology business operating within the construction sector. They are seeking an experienced Interim Legal Counsel to provide immediate support to their in-house legal team throughout September and potentially October.

This role has arisen due to a significant legal operations and technology project currently being implemented across the legal function. As a result, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining legal capacity and ensuring business-as-usual matters continue to be managed effectively.

Alongside the commercial workload, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support a wider legal AI/technology and process improvement programme, including:

  • Assisting with the implementation of new legal workflows and processes
  • Supporting the development of legal playbooks and knowledge resources
  • Working closely with legal operations and technology specialists
  • Contributing to process optimisation and legal function efficiency initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
