Growth Strategy & Corporate Development Analyst
3 months fixed-term contract
Job Purpose
IWG is focused on rapidly expanding our global footprint and strengthening our national networks. This role sits in a lean, high-performing team at the centre of that agenda, working directly with senior leadership on high-impact projects across organic growth strategy, performance analysis and M&A.
You will have meaningful ownership from day one, with exposure to the Chief Investment Officer, CFO and other senior executives. The work is varied and fast-moving, and suits someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable operating with autonomy in an evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will partner closely with senior management and country teams to help define and deliver IWG’s growth strategy and capital allocation priorities. Responsibilities include:
Growth Strategy & Investment Analysis
- Analyse the Group’s organic growth strategy, define key value drivers and measure delivery against plan
- Prepare and refine investment cases for approval, including market assessment, returns analysis and clear recommendations for decision-makers
- Support negotiations with landlords and partners by providing robust financial analysis, scenario modelling and commercial insight
Performance analysis
- Analyse business performance to identify drivers, risks and opportunities
- Benchmark IWG’s performance against competitors and relevant market indicators
- Create clear, precise outputs for senior stakeholders
Financial modelling, valuation & returns
- Build operating, valuation and returns models for organic initiatives and M&A opportunities (including pro-forma P&L, balance sheet and cash flow)
- Run sensitivities and scenario analysis to support investment decisions and risk management

Corporate development & project delivery
- Support end-to-end transaction and project workstreams (analysis, internal & external materials, execution support and implementation follow-through)
- Coordinate inputs across stakeholders (country teams, Network Growth, Finance and other functions)
- Support on ad-hoc projects for the Chief Investment Officer, CFO and other Senior Executives to evaluate business performance
Required Experience
Experienced at Analyst / Associate level, developing and presenting data analytics in the following areas:
- Investment banking
- Equity Research
- Lead Advisory
- Private Equity
- Asset Management
- Transaction Services
Real Estate / Property experience not necessary. Experience of working in a corporate role is preferred but not required.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Enthusiastic self-starter who is ambitious and wants to learn
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to connect analysis to strategy and decision-making
- Advanced Excel modelling skills and experience building well-structured, audit-ready models
- Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and ability to work with imperfect information
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and present clear recommendations
- Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively across multiple workstreams
- Comfortable in a fast-changing environment; proactive in identifying issues and escalating risks appropriately
