Interim Corporate Lawyer – PE-Backed Growth Business

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced interim legal leader to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed business undergoing significant expansion and integration activity across Europe.

This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded lawyer who can combine strong M&A expertise with broader General Counsel responsibilities in an evolving organisation.

The Role

You will act as the senior legal adviser to the business, supporting strategic growth initiatives and leading legal workstreams relating to acquisitions, integration projects, governance and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and executing bolt-on acquisitions from a practical in-house perspective.
  • Reviewing, negotiating and advising on transaction documentation and term sheets.
  • Managing and coordinating external legal advisers.
  • Advising senior stakeholders on legal, commercial and business risks.
  • Supporting governance, compliance and risk management activities.
  • Designing and implementing legal frameworks, policies and processes in a scaling environment.
  • Contributing to post-acquisition integration and business transformation initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
