Deputy CFO
A leading UK financial services business is looking to appoint a Deputy CFO to play a key role within its senior finance leadership team. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced finance leader from life insurance who can operate strategically while remaining close to the detail.
The role will involve:
- Supporting the CFO across financial strategy, performance and decision-making
- Leading and developing senior finance teams
- Oversight of financial reporting, planning & analysis and financial control
- Providing robust commercial insight to the Executive and Board
- Driving improvements across finance processes, systems and controls
- Supporting regulatory, statutory and governance requirements
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across the wider business
- Playing a key role in the continued transformation and evolution of the finance function

We're looking for someone with:
- Significant senior finance leadership experience within life insurance / pensions
- Strong technical accounting, reporting and financial control experience
- Proven experience operating at CFO / Deputy CFO / Finance Director / Financial Controller level
- Excellent understanding of a regulated environment
- Strong commercial and strategic capability
- The gravitas to influence at Executive and Board level
- A track record of leading, developing and transforming finance teams
