Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority to appoint an Interim Digital Procurement Specialist

Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority to appoint an Interim Digital Procurement Specialist to support a major digital programme, taking the procurement through ITT development, issue, evaluation and moderation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ITT development and procurement process
  • Manage tender issue, evaluation and moderation
  • Work closely with procurement, digital and programme teams
  • Support procurement through the relevant public-sector framework
  • Provide specialist advice on ERP and wider digital systems
  • Ensure the process is well governed and delivered to timescales

About You:

  • Experienced Interim Procurement Specialist or Manager
  • Strong background in digital, IT or technology procurement
  • Experience delivering complex procurements within local government or the public sector
  • Strong understanding of ITT, evaluation and moderation
  • Experience using public-sector procurement frameworks
  • ERP experience preferred, but wider digital systems experience considered
  • Strong stakeholder management and delivery skills
