A private equity-backed infrastructure business with revenues of approximately £500m is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Director of FP&A to support the next phase of its growth journey.
With significant acquisition activity underway, this role will partner closely with the CFO, investors, and senior leadership team to strengthen forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic decision-making across the group. This is a highly visible role at the centre of value creation and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the group's budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Develop board-ready reporting, KPI dashboards, and performance insights for the CFO and PE sponsors.
- Support acquisition activity, including financial modelling, due diligence, integration planning, and synergy tracking.
- Drive cash flow forecasting, scenario analysis, and value creation initiatives.
- Enhance financial reporting and planning capabilities across a multi-entity environment.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve business performance and decision-making.
- Lead and develop the FP&A team while embedding best-practice processes and controls.

Candidate Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven FP&A leadership experience within large, complex businesses.
- Strong private equity-backed experience.
- Track record supporting M&A, integrations, buy-and-build strategies, or transformation programmes.
- Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and commercial analysis skills.
- Confident presenting to CFOs, boards, lenders, and investors.
