Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim ERP Programme Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of a major cloud ERP transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale ERP implementation across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement
- Manage programme plans, governance, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery
- Oversee ERP implementation activities, including design, data migration, testing, deployment, and business readiness
- Provide robust programme reporting and drive accountability across internal teams and implementation partners
- Support the successful mobilisation of a high-profile, organisation-wide transformation programme

About You:
- Proven experience delivering at least one end-to-end ERP implementation as a Programme Manager or Delivery Lead
- Strong background managing large-scale cloud ERP programmes, ideally within Local Government or the wider public sector
- Experience overseeing programme governance, risk management, supplier management, and programme controls
- Confident engaging with executive stakeholders and operating in complex organisational environments
- Knowledge of Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement systems, with experience of SAP, Oracle, Unit4, or Workday desirable
- A proactive, organised, and delivery-focused programme leader with excellent stakeholder management skills
