Interim European Works Council & Employee Relations Lead
6 months | £700+ per day, outside IR35 | UK based, occasional travel to London office and France
Our client, a global organisation with operations across Europe, is looking for an interim specialist to take immediate ownership of their European Works Council relationships and associated employee relations activity.
This is a hands-on, delivery focused role. The business needs someone who can operate confidently in the detail of works council engagement and European labour law, rather than someone setting high level strategy. You'll be the person managing the day to day relationships, keeping things running and compliant.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing relationships with European Works Councils, acting as the primary point of contact
- Advise on and ensure compliance with relevant European labour law and works council legislation
- Handle consultation processes and ensure legal obligations are met across relevant jurisdictions
- Work closely with HR, Legal and local market teams to manage employee relations matters tied to works council activity

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing European Works Councils in a hands-on capacity
- Strong working knowledge of European labour law
- Fluent French and English, both written and spoken, essential
- Comfortable with occasional travel to France and into a London office as required
- Available to start immediately or at very short notice
- UK based
