Interim Exit Support Length: 3 Months Location: Nottingham 4/5 days onsite (Midlands) Start: Immediate Day Rate: £800 CK0508

This person must be able to commute into the office 4/5 days per week. Ideally living within an hour of the office.

Ideally this person has a transactional services background and has exit experience in industry.

The Opportunity

Finatal is partnering with a private equity-backed business in Nottingham (Midlands) that is preparing for an upcoming exit process. We are seeking an experienced Interim Exit Support Consultant to work closely with the CFO, PE investors, and advisory teams to ensure the business is fully prepared for buyer diligence and a successful transaction.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who thrives under pressure, can quickly understand operational and financial processes, and has a proven track record supporting PE-backed businesses through successful exits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate responses to buyer, lender, and adviser Q&A requests.
  • Support the management of the virtual data room and ensure information is complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to gather, validate, and present key financial and operational information.
  • Meet with prospective investors and buyers, supporting management presentations and diligence discussions.
  • Investigate and document business processes, controls, and key operational workflows.
  • Follow complex data trails across multiple systems and departments to validate information provided to bidders.
  • Work alongside transaction advisers, financial due diligence providers, and legal teams throughout the transaction process.
  • Identify and proactively resolve issues that may impact the exit timeline or equity story.
  • Ensure consistency between financial, operational, and commercial data presented during diligence.
