Interim Finance Analyst (9-Month FTC)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + benefits
Location: Central London (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Start Date: Mid-September 2026
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Analyst to join a highly regarded publishing business on a 9-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of family leave.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting commercial and operational decision-making through robust financial analysis, business partnering, and process improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role within a busy, collaborative finance team where you'll have the opportunity to add real value from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Partner with commercial stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Produce insightful management information and reporting to support decision-making.
- Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Support the implementation and adoption of AI and automation tools within finance workflows.
- Manage accruals, reconciliations, and financial controls.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year post-qualified experience.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Proven ability to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
- Comfortable exploring AI, automation, and new ways of working.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.
- A reliable, proactive, and commercially minded finance professional.
