FINANCE
The Finance team stands as a strategic pillar of our organization, enabling the delivery of our business and financial goals, ensuring robust financial controls and optimizing overall financial performance. Finance is responsible for managing capital, ensuring financial integrity, optimizing resource allocation, and delivering accurate reporting to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
LONDON
Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a wide range of teams. Our open space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas. We also have a large outdoor terrace, which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.
ROLE
As a Finance Analyst for Business Services, you will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of core finance activities, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and month-end reporting for Business Services overheads. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you will contribute to the preparation of management accounts, perform variance analysis, assist with accruals and journal postings, and help deliver timely financial reports and presentations for senior management. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives and provide meaningful financial insights. This role offers exposure to real-world financial operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical, commercial, and business partnering skills while contributing to key business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Support the preparation of departmental budgets, forecasts, and month-end reporting
- Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and management reporting
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including insightful financial commentary
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives and business decision-making
- Continuously develop financial knowledge and skills through hands-on experience, collaboration, and mentorship

Who You Are
- Recently completed a postgraduate degree in Management, Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related field.
- AAT-qualified or part-qualified and actively working towards CIMA or ACCA (S)
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience, such as internships or part-time roles in finance, management, or related fields
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on new challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Exceptional quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively

As a Financial Analyst in the Finance Business Partnering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial transformation and supporting the marketing and growth teams to drive growth and profitability. You will also be responsible for managing the marketing costs and expenses, working closely with the accounting team and the Financial Planning teams in order to provide insights during month-end closing processes and financial planning cycles. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement, optimising processes, and implementing best practices to position the business for long-term success.
