We are working with a large, multi-site education organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Administrator / Finance Assistant to provide additional support to its central finance team.
This role would suit someone who is hands-on, proactive and able to hit the ground running, with previous experience using Sage Intacct being particularly important.
Key responsibilities:
- Completing regular bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies
- Processing and posting financial transactions accurately onto Sage Intacct
- Supporting with journals and other general ledger postings
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable activity where required
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are coded correctly
- Supporting the wider finance team with month-end and general finance administration
- Resolving queries and following up on outstanding information
- Providing additional finance support during a busy period for the organisation

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator or similar transactional finance role
- Has hands-on experience using Sage Intacct
- Is confident completing bank reconciliations and financial postings
- Has good attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial processes
- Is a self-starter who can pick things up quickly and work with minimal supervision
- Is comfortable working in a busy finance environment and managing competing priorities
- Ideally has experience within education, academies, schools or another multi-site organisation, although this is not essential
