Interim Finance Assistant - Birmingham
As an Interim Finance Assistant in Birmingham within the professional services industry, you'll focus on supporting the day-to-day accounting tasks that keep the department running smoothly. Description
- Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
- Respond to internal and external queries about financial data.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Support ad-hoc accounting and finance projects as required.

Profile
A Successful Interim Finance Assistant Should Have
- Experience in accounting or finance tasks within a professional setting.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.

Job Offer
- An hourly pay rate of £15.00-£20.00, dependent on the level of experience.
