About the Role
Our client is a prominent Financial Services business undergoing significant change across finance. They need an interim Finance Business Analyst to support the Programme Manager across a number of workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Mapping complex financial data from the new banking system to the data warehouse
- Mapping current As Is and To Be processes
- Supporting the creation of a standardised charts of accounts for consistent reporting
- Creating automated reconciliation frameworks to verify balances between systems
- Supporting user acceptance testing scenarios for financial ledgers and data pipelines
- Building automated dashboards
- Support the transition of legacy spreadsheets into scalable, warehouse-driven predictive financial models

Requirements
- Strong process mapping experience within finance transformation programmes
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases, verifying data, and modeling star schemas
- Deep understanding of core banking systems, general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and financial products
- Proven experience building corporate-level analytics dashboards on cloud data warehouses
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, banking, or fintech as a Business Analyst
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

About the Role
The role is a 12 month contract based in London on hybrid basis.
Day rate TBC. IR35 determination TBC but likely to be inside IR35.
