Interim Finance Business Partner
Surrey | £400 - £450 per day (Umbrella) | Hybrid Working
If you love data, analysis and working out what is actually going on in a business, this could be a really good one.
We’re looking for a qualified Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced consumer business in Surrey. There is loads of data.
The opportunity is turning that data into something genuinely useful.
You’ll be digging into sales, customers, products, profitability and performance. Spotting trends. Finding opportunities. Asking why something has happened and, more importantly, what the business should do about it.
This definitely isn’t analysis for the sake of analysis.
You’ll work closely with teams across the business, helping them understand performance and make better commercial decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

But you also need to be able to communicate it.
There is no point finding something brilliant in the data if you can’t explain why anyone should care.
You’ll need to be curious, commercial and comfortable working with people across the business. Experience within retail, eCommerce, consumer, hospitality or another fast-moving environment would be brilliant.
