Interim Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant
3-Month Interim Contract | Immediate Start | (2 Days On-Site) Bristol
£Day Rate DOE
I'm currently working with a highly regarded public sector organisation in the Bristol area that requires urgent interim finance support following an unexpected sickness absence within the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance function during a critical period, providing support through month-end, forecasting and budget management activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Partnering with operational managers and budget holders
- Providing financial support throughout a busy month-end cycle

This role would suit someone who can quickly integrate into an established team, build strong stakeholder relationships, and operate with minimal supervision from day one.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
- Strong management accounting experience
- Previous finance business partnering exposure
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
- Public sector, healthcare, or not-for-profit experience would be advantageous but is not essential
