Job Opportunity – Finance Business Partner (Adult Social Care)
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: DOE
Start Date: TBC
Contract Length: TBC
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Finance Business Partner for Adult Social Care services, including Older People, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and Physical Disabilities.
- Lead budget setting, forecasting, and financial monitoring of demand-led budgets.
- Support financial management of care packages, residential and nursing placements, supported living, homecare, and direct payments.
- Provide financial advice and challenge to Directors, Heads of Service, and operational managers.
- Produce budget forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reports, identifying key demand and cost pressures.
- Support savings programmes, transformation initiatives, and budget recovery plans.
- Contribute to the MTFS, year-end accounts, and financial governance processes.

Successful Candidates:
- Fully CCAB qualified (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or Finance Manager role within Adult Social Care.
- Strong understanding of care packages, placements, commissioned services, and demand-led budgets.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide robust financial challenge.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Local government experience essential.
