Interim Finance Consultant
Location: UK/Remote
Day Rate: £500 per day
Contract: 6 months

Finatal are working with a large-cap private equity fund that owns a globally regulated financial services/professional services business with £200m in revenue. They have been pursuing a buy-and-build strategy and recently made several acquisitions in the UK. They are looking for an Interim Finance Consultant to support those acquisitions by professionalising financial reporting and processes, while reviewing acquired entities.

- Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with the CFO and CEO on monthly reporting and must have experience supporting and calculating restricted cash balances under FCA regulations.
- While integrating the acquired entities into the group and onto PE-level reporting, you will also establish a playbook for future acquisitions and restructure local finance teams where required.
The business has established a significant global footprint and maintains an active M&A strategy. You must have strong Excel and data manipulation skills, as you will be working with imperfect datasets to produce high-quality reporting.

Ideally, you'll have a track record in:
- Globally regulated financial services environments
- Professionalising financial reporting and processes
- Calculating restricted cash under FCA regulations
- Restructuring finance teams within acquired entities
