Interim Finance Director | Watford area | 3–6 months | Start ASAP
We're recruiting a hands-on Interim Finance Director for a fast-growing technology and services business near Watford. The company is going through a period of significant change and needs an experienced pair of hands to strengthen and support the existing team.
This is an operational role. You'll own the day-to-day running of finance reporting, systems and operations, making sure the business gets accurate, robust financial information consistently, while tightening financial controls and supporting the wider business.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading month-end and year-end reporting
- Delivering KPI reporting to the SLT and wider business
- Owning balance sheet reconciliations and review
- Managing cashflow and forecasting
- Running the transactional team day-to-day
Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, you'll need to be confident leading a team and equally comfortable getting under the bonnet of processes and procedures, reviewing what's there and improving it where it counts.

What we're looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- A strong track record in team management
- Experience in a high-volume, low-margin environment, ideally within a medium-sized business (c.£100m revenue)
- Someone available at short notice for an initial 3–6 month engagement
- Experience of systems implementation
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week on-site in the Watford area.
£600 - £650 per day
