I’m currently supporting a commercially minded public sector organisation in Kent with the appointment of an Interim Finance Director.

This is an opportunity for an experienced finance leader to take ownership of a small finance function and play a key role in strengthening financial management, reporting and assurance across the organisation.

The role:

  • Initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension
  • c.£650 per day + VAT
  • Full-time or part-time considered
  • Based in Kent, with 3 days per week on site
  • Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board

The organisation has made significant progress over the past year in strengthening its finance processes, controls, cash-flow forecasting and reporting. The successful candidate will build on this work, embedding improvements and providing the CEO and Board with confidence in the financial information being presented.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
