Interim Finance Director - London, United Kingdom (Contract)
We are partnering with our client, a leading organisation in the telecommunications sector, who is seeking a seasoned Interim Finance leader to drive finance transformation and performance across multiple international markets. This contract role will sit at the heart of our client's strategic finance operations, working closely with Finance Directors and virtual teams to optimise performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and deliver value across all revenue streams.
Key Skills & Experience
- Leadership of large, virtual, cross-country teams: Proven ability to lead diverse teams across multiple countries, managing complex, dynamic environments and driving measurable results.
- Managing multi-entity and cross-cultural structures: Experience overseeing large-scale business services and group structures, fostering collaboration within our client's team.
- Technical Accounting & Finance expertise: Deep technical finance skills with a formal qualification, enabling robust financial control and insight.
- Strategic finance operations: Track record in aligning finance operations to business objectives, optimising performance, and delivering value across markets.
- Partner and stakeholder management: Ability to manage relationships with Finance Directors, external BPO providers and service line leads to enhance service delivery.
- Finance transformation & digital strategy: Experience implementing finance transformation, ERP changes and digital strategies to improve margins and customer satisfaction.
- Continuous improvement & change management: Skilled in identifying productivity opportunities, leading change initiatives and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
- Telecommunications industry understanding: Converged telco and IT literacy, including cloud-native applications, big data and disruptive technology trends.
- Communication & stakeholder engagement: Ability to tell the story behind the numbers, influencing senior stakeholders and building deep customer partnerships.
