Interim Finance Director | Media

6-month contract | £120,000–£140,000 per annum

Hybrid London

Our client, an international media business, is looking for an experienced Interim Finance Director to provide senior leadership during a period of organisational change.

This is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for FP&A, financial control and finance operations. You’ll ensure the finance function continues to deliver while supporting the team and keeping several important transformation projects moving forward.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining strong month-end, quarter-end and management reporting
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
  • Improving forecasting processes across complex commercial relationships
  • Providing clear financial insight and decision support to senior leadership
  • Maintaining robust controls, governance, compliance and audit readiness
  • Coaching and supporting senior members of the finance team
  • Overseeing finance transformation, ERP, reporting and process-improvement projects
  • Bringing structure, stability and clear priorities during a period of transition

You’ll also need experience leading international finance teams and operating within a complex, matrixed organisation.

The right person will be pragmatic, credible and genuinely hands-on: someone who can work effectively with senior stakeholders, support a team through change and balance strategic priorities with the day-to-day demands of the finance function.

Salary: £120,000–£140,000 per annum

Contract: Six months
