Interim Finance Director | Legal Sector | London

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)
Acuity Associates is supporting a well-established London law firm as they strengthen their finance function during a period of change.
This is a hands-on interim assignment for an experienced Finance Director who can provide leadership, improve financial reporting, and support the business through a period of finance transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support an established finance team.
- Improve the quality and timeliness of management reporting.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, and reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
- Provide commercial financial insight to support senior leadership.
- Support ongoing finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with operational and senior stakeholders across the business.

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has previous Finance Director or CFO experience within a UK law firm.
- Has strong working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
- Has experience improving finance functions, reporting, and controls.
- Is a confident leader with experience developing finance teams.
- Is commercially minded and enjoys a hands-on approach.
- Can work from the London office 2-3 days per week.
