Interim Finance Director
£150m+ Turnover | PE-Backed SaaS
Contract: 6-months
Remote
I am working exclusively with a Private Equity-backed SaaS business with £150m+ turnover, who are urgently looking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Director for an initial 6-month assignment.
This is a senior finance leadership role within a recurring revenue / SaaS environment, with a strong focus on technical finance, reporting and ensuring the business has robust financial processes in place.
Key requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong SaaS / recurring revenue experience
- Proven experience operating at Finance Director / senior financial controller level
- Strong technical accounting background, including audit, statutory accounts and financial reporting
- Experience working with German GAAP (HGB) would be highly desirable
- German language skills would be advantageous
- Comfortable working within a PE-backed environment
- Able to operate autonomously and provide senior-level financial leadership from day one

The role will involve:
- Leading the finance function through a period of change
- Overseeing financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit
- Ensuring strong financial controls and accounting processes
- Supporting recurring revenue / SaaS reporting
- Working closely with senior management and PE stakeholders
- Providing technical accounting guidance and resolving complex accounting matters
